How do I get to SNOPA if I am flying into the MSP airport and don't have a car available?
While in the past the SNOPA! committee has organized pickup from and dropoff at the MSP airport for out-of-town attendees, we now have a reduced number of volunteers, many of whom will be working on setup the Friday that the SNOPA! weekend begins. So, unfortunately, as of SNOPA! 2027, the SNOPA! committee is not able to offer organizing airport rides from MSP to Camp St. Croix, or back from Camp St. Croix to MSP. Please consider the following options:
Take the Groome shuttle on the MSP to Eau Claire, WI, route, getting off at Hudson, WI; details on shuttle times and costs are available at https://groometransportation.com/minneapolis-st-paul-airport/eau-claire/ (check the MSP >> Eau Claire schedule). You can then use Uber or possibly other ride-sharing services to get a ride to Camp St. Croix (e.g. see https://www.uber.com/us/en/r/cities/taxi/hudson-wi-us/ ).
You can contact a friend who is going to SNOPA to see if you can work out arrangements with that person directly. However, realize that while we all want to help, we may be busy with SNOPA! setup (on Friday) or takedown (on Sunday) and/or personal tasks.
We are working on setting up an online communication space where those attendees needing or offering rides can post and possibly make connections. Stay tuned!
