SEC

I used the Slayer Exciter Circuit or SEC to light a CFL to light a dark closet.

The schematic of the 40 sec timer and the SEC can be downloaded below.

The circuit draws no current in idle state, and 165mA when the light is on.

Changing R an C can alter the ON-time of the timer (time= 2RC...3RC times)
