Mendocino motor : it's a magnetically lifted rotor with one sharp needle point for low friction turning.
To lift the rotor it has 4 base mounted magnets that repel the 2 magnets on the left and right of the rotor.
In the middle i usually put 6 magnets that are polarized N,S,N,S,N,S. In combination with a coil and the SS1CC
circuit the rotor can be turned (clockwise or counter clockwise).
