are hosting their annual Pasta and Meatball Dinner
Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
Raffles and a performance by the GHS Chamber Choir at 7 pm. Donation $9.00. Advanced ticket sales only at Slater Library, VFW and Jewett City Greenhouses. Come and enjoy a night of good eating and entertainment!

Friends of Slater Library is hosting a bus trip to the Boston Flower and Garden Show on Saturday, March 25th. Tickets are $65.00 for the bus and admission or $55.00 for the bus only. See listing below for complete details.

Open Studio - a new art group at Slater Library will be meeting Tuesday, 2/21 @ 5:45pm. Open to all; this session will focus on Still Life Sketching.

Dr. Seuss Story Hour - Help us celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday with stories, refreshments and crafts! Saturday, March 4th at 1 pm. Sign-ups appreciated, not required!

Free Educational Workshops for Baby Boomers and Retirees - March 17th at 1:30 pm, Elder Law and Estate Planning presented by Theresa Madonna, attorney practicing in Griswold CT and Reverse Mortgages - New and Improved, presented by Jerry Delmato.
March 31, 2017 at 1:30 pm - How to Identify and Protect Yourself from Fraud presented by Claudia LaRoque. Participants will learn how phone, mail and online scams work, how to avoid the traps and how to report fraud.

or children 0-2 years and caregivers begins 1/17 at 10:45 am. This class is filled.

"Toddler Storytime,"
for children ages 2 and 3, begins 1/18 at 9:15 am and 10:30 am.
  Sign-ups welcome from all towns. Space is available in both Storytime groups.
