Howdy,

My name is Skylar Scheiffele. I am the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2020 from Houston, Texas. I am currently a senior apart of the Department of Horticultural Sciences obtaining a Bachelor's Degree of Science. This degree will allow me to achieve my long-term career goal of becoming a wholesale nursery manager, and to one day successfully operate my own nursery. My love of plants started when I was a young child. I grew up playing outside, interacting with the various plant species of Texas. As I became older, I fostered this love of the outdoors and its greenery. My desire as a student and plant lover is to keep the Earth green. A Bachelor of Science in Horticulture will give me the knowledge and resources to help accomplish this goal.
