Hello and thanks for visiting my website.
I am an applied microeconomist interested in the origins of inequalities within and across generations. My research focuses on human capital formation, particularly during the early years and adolescence, and the role that public policy can have in shaping life chances and reducing inequalities.
I am currently a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and a Policy Fellow at Nesta. I have held senior leadership positions in both organisations and advisory roles at the Department for Education.
I am affiliated with the CESifo Network, the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group (HCEO), and IZA.
