Siu-yau Lee (李肇祐) 

Welcome. I am an associate professor in the Department of Government and International Studies, Hong Kong Baptist University. My research interests include immigration politics, intergroup relations, identity, and, more broadly, comparative social policy.

Previously I was awarded a Swire Scholarship from the Swire Charitable Trust, a China Research Award from the University of Oxford, and a Lord Fulton Memorial Prize from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was an associate professor at the Education University of Hong Kong, where I received the President’s Early Career Research Excellence Award and the Dean’s Research Output Prize in 2017.

My work appears in journals such as The British Journal of Social Psychology, The China Quarterly, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Modern China, Political Behavior, Political Psychology, Political Studies, Social Indicators Research, and Aging and Mental Health.
