The Simpson Cross Activities Group (SCAG) is an Association, created in 1995 and registered with the Charity Commission (charity number 1046468). Its objects include, to quote from its Constitution:
"To promote the benefit of Simpson Cross Village … with the object of improving the conditions of life for the … inhabitants"
What the group does
… looking after the Community Centre (the Village Hall)
… organizing the Village Fetes and other events
… getting funding for various projects that help the Village
… acting as a point of focus for those interested in Village life
The AGM
The AGM is the Annual General Meeting. It is your chance to vote for the members of the Group Committee or, better still, to get on the Committee yourself. The most recent AGM was held on Sunday 5 September 2010.

Committee meetings
Monthly committee meetings are held, usually (but not always) on the first Monday of the month. Visitors are very welcome at these meetings, which are held at the Community Centre.
