The LDP is Pembrokeshire's Local Development Plan.
There are a number of phases to this plan. In February and March 2011 several Simpson Cross residents submitted objections to the plan.
The next round of objections must be submitted by 16 June 2011.
Objections raised by residents of Simpson Cross
There will be a public meeting at 3pm in the Village Hall on Sunday 5 June in order to discuss the plan. All residents of Simpson Cross are invited to attend.

Here is the main page about the plan.
The Simpson Cross development has site reference HSG/119/LDP/01.
There are two Alternative Site site references:
ALT/N/119/01 - the extended site proposed by "Lewis (J & M)" [This might be John and Monica Lewis, previous proprietors of Cornerways.]
ALT/D/119/01 - the deletion of the original site proposed by various villagers (Gerard Davies, Roger Fowler, Vivian Morgan & John Caffrey)
I find Pembrokeshire Council's pages about this plan very confusing, making it very difficult for a member of the public to make a mental model of how it is organised. It is tempting to see these pages as a deliberate smoke screen making it difficult to object to the plan. For a small example of the problems with the Council's LDP website see this page.
Recently (I am writing this on Sunday 29 May 2011), an Alternative Site Notice was posted near the west end of Hill Lane - next to Bryn Rees's telephone box.
The position of the Alternative Site Notice:
The Alternative Site Notice:
This Alternative Site Notice is very poorly presented - giving no details allowing anybody, who is new to this proposed development, to find out to which site it relates. It says on the Notice:
"You can comment on Alternative Sites from 4 May 2011 to 5pm on 16 June 2011."
Anyway, here are some links to various LDP pages:
Note that the contents of those pages could change from day to day - making some of my remarks about the pages wrong.

Deposit Plan Representations
http://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/objview.asp?object_id=6082&language=
This is a huge 1,819 page PDF file. It is appallingly laid out with most pages being two-thirds blank with a dense column of text down the right hand side. When looking at a page you often have no idea what Representation Number you are looking at because, for a multi-page representation, the number is only given on the first page.
The representations for Simpson Cross appear to be:
Representor
ID Page
Davies, Gerard: 1750 419 + 420
Fowler, Roger: 1809 488
Morgan, Vivian: 2090 1139
Caffrey, John: 2155 1345
I have attempted to gather together these representations (Gerard Davies seems to have two) here.
This link defines the new Alternative Site:

This is a PDF file. The Alternative Site Reference is ALT/N/119/01. The Representor name is "F.B. Fisher Associates". The representor number is "1833 (on behalf of 1834)".
Note that this document mentions a Mr D Lewis (number 2089). I think this might really be Viv Morgan (number 2090). Numbers 1833 and 1834 are on page 514 of the "Deposit Plan Representations" document mentioned above.
In this link we find...
But in the "Deposit Plan Representations" we find Representor numbers 1833 and 1834 mentioned as follows (and we see that representor 1833 appears to be associated with Milford Haven Port Authority):
The Sustainability Appraisal of Alternative Site, ALT/N/119/01 "1833 FOR 1834":
http://www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/objview.asp?object_id=6036
This is a PDF file. It contains many spurious assessments of the alternative site. For example, the fact that the construction process (of the new houses) would provided employment is rated as a plus. Under that view ANY construction (or, indeed, destruction) process would rate a plus.

Lewis (J & M)'s representation:
Full Name/Organisation Name: Lewis (J & M)
Method of Receipt: e-Mail
Representation Type: Object
Date of Receipt: 08/03/2011
Representation Summary: SIMPSON CROSS - HSG/119/LDP/01 - Object to housing allocation east of Hill Lane, Simpsons Cross – allocation should be amended to include wider candidate site area for design and access reasons. Alternative Site Reference - ALT/N/119/01.
Full Representation: Part of the land to which this submission relates is included in the current Local Development Plan. The site is well located on the outskirts of Simpsons Cross in a sort after area. The Candidate Site Submission included the whole of the enclosure (Candidate number 362. HEG/119/LDP/01) which has been amended to only include part of the site. There is concern that development of the included part could restrict access to the southern part of the site. SUMMARY The site should be enlarged in the Local Development Plan to ensure a comprehensive design for the whole enclosure. A phased development programme could be agreed with the Planning Authority.

Transport: Access will be from Hill Lane, not the A487. Creation of the site
access road will require various improvements to take place to
Hill Lane, including selective widening, footway provision and
creation of visibility splays. The site is allocated at 20dph due
to highway constraints on Hill Lane.
Notes: Phased for development after 2016 (AMP 6 improvements).
The historic environment interests are unlikely to be adversely
affected by a development proposal.

The allocated site is well related to the settlement with access
to some facilities and services. The allocation may need to be
phased for development to align with Dwr Cymru Welsh Water
improvements.
