Tipycal implementation diagram :
Description :
- signal SNCF red disk + w (1), announcing when in closed position a compulsory stop in station,
- SNCF speed limit ST (2) announcing a speed limit of 40 km/h and to be placed along the switch,
- semaphore SNCFsemaf ST, to place upstream to the switch, and to combine with a "R" board of resumption of speed (KUID 201472 : 656), an invisible signal on each track (the green signals KUID 53425:10001:1)
- a "LM" board - limit of manoeuvre (maneuver) - to make attractive and realistic
(the distance indicated of 1500 m is to modulate according to the configuration of the way - maximum distance of braking observed-)
Functioning :
A) Crossing in station. (plan above)
Trains A and B are going to cross themselves. The warning target(1) is closed, indicating the deferred stop and the obligation to stop in station.
It is followed by a closed speed board indicating the maximal speed (40 kph) to warn of the passage of the next switch unlocked and directed to the left for the train B, and switch unlocked for train A.
Trains cross themselves and mark a compulsory stop in station (plan below). A additional programmatin will allow to close the semaphores.
Then, the semaphores of exit will indicate " free way ", and trains will leave the station by chasing needles.
Programmation in Trainz :
Within the framework of a classic session, we can use the commands such as below, to obtain an operating in the closest. However, and in the stop of trains, semaphores will remain open if ways are free.
B) Crossing of station with a single train:
Non-stop, all the signals are erased, the train crosses the station at the speed of service
If the way is downstream closed (occupied block), the semaphore of exit will be red. The warning of entry will be only closed, the red disk and the SNCFSpeed Limit ST remaining erased.
In case of stop in station, we can program the closure of the semaphore of exit via the command Signal State Ex ; as previously, only the warning of entry will be opened.
Characteristics of the special signals :
Speed board
This model is specially designed for the signalling in single-track station. Its setting-up is described higher.
For its functioning, you will place upstream to the junction, and on the diverted way, a 'SNCF signal target diverted' visible face turned to the signal.
By configuration, and when the target is presented this signal commands a speed limited to 40 kph for trains in IA. It is thus useless to place invisible speedboard in entry of station.
The target is presented if the protected junction is diverted, or if the semaphore downstream is closed.
Semaphore of exit.
This model is specially designed for the signalling in single-track station. Its setting-up is described higher.
For its functioning, you will place a "signal invisible" 2:53425:10001:1 on each of the two ways, visible face turned to the semaphore.
Then, you will 'name' each of these invisible signals (for example: S1 and S2)
Finally, configure the semaphore.
