Demonstration Guidelines

The Opendata Visualization Contest will hold with following conditions.

Datetime: Tuesday, 3 November, 15:00 - 16:00

Place: D-03 booth at the Level 1, Kobe Int'l Exhibition Hall No. 2

Program:

15:00 - 15:25 Keynote Speech (Dr. Shuichi Onami, RIKEN Quantitative Biology Center)

15:25 - 15:30 Sponsor Speech (Princeton Ltd.)

15:30 - 15:35 Demo Overview (Ismail Arai, Chair of the contest)

15:35 - 15:50 Contest (5 minutes presentation for each group)

15:50 - 16:00 Award Ceremony

Official language in the contest is Japanese. But, English is welcome.

The program of the D-03 booth is published in the KOBE City's Web pages in Japanses.

We prepare two awards

- The Best Demo Award

- Prinston Award (Sponsor's award)

Furthermore, Prinston Ltd. prepares three extra prizes for all attendees!

Your presentation should include three entities.

- The task you selected (We prepare four tasks for SSBD, two tasks for CFD, and a free task for Urban data)

- Overview of your proposal

- Demonstration of your visualization application

You can bring your own Laptop PC for your presentation.

The booth has a 180 inches LCD which has a HDMI port for your presentation.

Your laptop PC will recognize the LCD as Full HD Display (1920 x 1080 resolution) when connect with the HDMI port.

If your PC doesn't have an HDMI port, ask me beforehand.

You have two choices as follows.

- Bring your own Laptop PC which has a mini Display (Thunderbolt) port such as a Macbook.

We have an extension cable (mini Display port to HDMI.)

- Send me one or more presentation files.

Our PC has some major software to presentation such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud.

The contest booth doesn't have the Internet connection. So, we will prepare a LTE Wi-Fi router. You should care about not so fast internet connection.
