I RACED THERE EXCEPT THE FIRST NIGHT RACE ON A 1955 AJS.
COUPLE OF TIMES AS LIGHTS WERE ADDED THE FUSES ON THE PGE POLES WAS OVER LOADED AND I WAS RACING ON TOP OF THE HILL IT SUDDENLY GOT VERY DARK. NOBODY RAN OFF THE TRACK AND NOBODY GOT HURT.
John related a story about a car accident....
Another two people were injured in that same car. the ambulance at the track was called to the scene of the accident. We were without an ambulance for over an hour
