in the year 1976ish the man was Don Dodge he had not many friends i think,

because buy then a lot of the riders had factory sponsors. but Don built his triumph in his garage buy himself, he would come off the line get to the top of the hill first when he would lay the bike over, come around the corner, straighten out look over his shoulder to see how far he was ahead never look back again shooting blue flames out of his bike, he would beat almost every race he raced, the crowd loved him and roared, the other racers not so much.

I got to flag a corner at white salmon that summer they could tell buy looking in your eyes as they came around corner if every thing was still good, as if you did not need the flags. a lot of the same guys went to the track at white salmon washington, bees all over the place. ric let me ride his bultaco is was hard for me to ride because i rode a 4 stroke street bike went around the outside of the track jerking all over the place. 2 little guys on small bikes passed me crossed up on the inside going like batts. i rolled the gas back went and parked the bike never went back on the track
