My LST Related Works

These are some of my works during my service as the Secretary-General of the Linguistic Society of Taiwan.

Mid-Autumn Festival Greeting Card

2021

The lines were created by Prof. Doris Chen and the photo was taken from Streetwindy from Pexels.

The card was made by me with little skills (just learned) from the Paint 3D.

Lunar New Year Greeting Card

2021

The poem was created by my two brilliant students Man-hua Huang and Heng-chia Liao. The two paper-bulls were cut by my assistant Yu-Hsiang Shen, with additional help from Wei-Ting Tseng.

The 2020 LST Annual Meeting

This video was put together by students in my lab (Betty Wang, Wendy Hsu, Tracy Ho, and Yu-Hsiang Shen) and students in my class (Hung-Hsin Hsu, Guo Xie, Yi-you Chen, and Yen-ru Tu). It was filmed and edited by Hsin-rou Lin.

The Mailing of all LST Ballots

From left: Wei-Ting Yang, Jenny Ya-Hsin Chen, me, Hung-Hsin Hsu, and Yu-Hsiang Shen. They cut, glued, packed, unpacked, re-packed, re-checked, and re-checked from 8:30 through 4pm.

Mailing wasn't easy

We had to write every recipient's name on paper.

Stickers

We had to match the sticker number to the name we wrote on the paper.

Finally

Finally, we sent them all out before the post office was closed.

My gratitude was silent.

Placed on the desk at 7am before I went exercising.
