My masters thesis dealt with controlling plasma position for the STOR-1M tokamak. More information can be found on the web page for CSOIS or in my thesis listed on the publications page.
My work at the USU PPL (plasma physics lab) involved maintaining the electronic equipment for the STOR-1M tokamak. I was also responsible for designing/building and installing any new electronic equipment required to run control experiments on the reactor. My job also included firing shots ("running experiments") on the tokamak for system identification/control. A few photos are presented below to provide a visual reference of the hardware system and its complexity.
