John Hague and Ann Schooley appeared here and declared their intentions of taking each other in Marriage this being the first time this meeting appoints M? Cadwalader & Mahlon Janney to inquire into the young mans ? relation to with others and what else may be necessary and make report to next monthly meeting.

John Hague and Ann Schooley appeared here and ? they continued their intentions of taking each other in marriage this being the second time nothing appeared to obstruct they are left to their liberty to consummate their marriage according to the good order used among the Friends and Thomas Lamb and William Brown is appointed to ? of the same be so orderly accomplis'd & make ? next monthly meeting.

William Schooley produced a recommendation ? Kingwood monthly meeting in New Jersey who recommend him as worthy of the care & ? conduct since his residing among us has been in good degree orderly having diligently attended our ? worship now seems desirous to be received as a member of our Society as nothing appears to obstruct his Request is granted.

William Schooley having gone out in marriage with Ann Mathews both being members amongst us therefore it is supposed they had carnal knowing one with the other before marriage and for the further knowledge of the affair this Meeting appoints Mahlon Janney and John Hough to make inquiry so far as they have opportunity the better to know how to draw a Testimony against their disorderly conduct which appears ? Friends should be done and that the above Friends draw a Testimony according to the nature of the case so far as capable and produce the same to next monthly meeting for approbation.

Ann Schooley appeared with a paper under her hand condemning her past misconduct which was read and considered among our women friends who produced the same to this meeting which was received believing it to be offered in a good degree of sincerity and is appointed to be read at some publick meeting for worship at Fairfax by Jonathan Myers who is to return the paper to next monthly meeting to be ?

William Schooley offered something from under his own hand condemning his outgoings for which he stands disowned and for further knowledge of his sincerity this Meeting appoints Mahlon Janney and John Hough to treat with William and make report to next meeting how they find him.

The Friends appointed to treat with William Schooley about his Request reported that he appeared desirous of being joyned with friends again and that they found no objection thereto this meeting after considering the case again to receive him according to his request and appoints Mahlon Janney to read his offering of condemnation at the close of some public meeting for worship at Fairfax and return the same to next meeting to be recorded.

William Wildman Junr being charged with committing of fornication he being treated with by the ? did not deny the charge therefore this meeting in duty bound to remove the reproach from the Society do order a Testimony to be drawed up against him and appoints Francis Hague and Moses Cadwalader to draw one accordingly and produce it to next Monthly Meeting.

The friends appointed to draw a Testimony against William Wildman Junr have produced one which was approved and signed Jonathan Mires Joseph Janney is appointed to show him the same give him a copy which if he declines to read the testimony at the close of some publick meeting for worship at Fairfax and return the Testimony to be recorded.
