Zach Johnson, PhD Student, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Johnson has completed his MS from Oklahoma State University. He has developed an ASIC and FPGA design for Bert-Tiny Language Model during his MS thesis at the VIP group. Currently he is developing a digital VLSI architecture for AI-native receiver.

KM Faisal, PhD Student, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Faisal has completed his first MS from Chosun University, South Korea and his MS masters from SUNY University of Albany, USA. He is currently working towards his PhD on reinforcement learning and transformer models for wireless communications.  

Md. Salman Sakib, PhD Student, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Sakib has completed his BSc from Islamic University of Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is working towards his PhD on massive MIMO systems with nonidealities.

Quentin Koeninger, PhD Student, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Koeninger has completed his BSc from Oklahoma State University, USA. He is working on digital VLSI design for 6G massive MIMO receivers. 

Hridi Prova Debnath, PhD Student, Oklahoma State University

Ms Debnath has started working on digital VLSI design for an approximate inversion based MIMO detector. 

Ishan V. Kumar, MS Student, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Kumar has completed his BSc from UT Austin and is currently an active duty U.S. Army service member. He is pursuing his MS thesis in VIP group with a research focus on space communications.

Eden Barnes, Miller Scholar and Undergraduate Researcher, Oklahoma State University

Eden is working on semantic communications on edge devices and FPGA implementation for THz transceiver.  

Dr. Joonas Kokkoniemi, Docent/Adjunct Professor, Centre for Wireless Communications, University of Oulu, Finland

Dr. Kokkoniemi is an expert on THz Channel Modeling. During November 2024, he worked at the VIPS lab on THz Backhaul  Communication.

Katy Wagner, URS Scholar and Undergraduate Researcher, Oklahoma State University

Ms. Wagner is working on deep learning-based joint source-channel coding

Nicholas Day, Undergraduate Researcher, Oklahoma State University

Mr. Day has been implementing a Neural Network VLSI Design for Digital Predistortion

Jacob Hood, Undergraduate Researcher, Oklahoma State University

As a Miller Scholar, Mr. Hood is worked on the Neural Eavesdropping and Security of Open RAN Systems in the VIPS Lab.  

Alex Dhrubo Malakar, Undergraduate Researcher, Oklahoma State University

As a Miller Scholar, Mr. Malakar investigated the Bipatrite Tables for Neural Network Implementation on FPGAs.
