EDUCATIONAL GRANT PROGRAM

The Southport Island Association (SIA) is offering grants to Southport residents who are in grades (K-12) for, but not limited to, trips and projects that enhance their education. Southport students who are home schooled (K-12) as well as Southport students attending other schools (K-12) are also welcome to apply.

Prior grants have been made for students to attend Maine School for Math and Science, Ocean Classroom, Coastal Studies for Girls, exchange trips to France and Germany and Leadership Conferences.

Completed applications should be submitted at least 30 days prior to the program being funded. Funds will not be sent to individual applicants. Be sure to indicate to whom the check is payable and the address to whom it is to be sent.
