Dr. Seok Jun Moon is a Professor in the Department of Oral Biology and the Director of the Center for Convergence Research on Taste–Oral Functions. He received his D.D.S. from Yonsei University College of Dentistry and his Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where he conducted doctoral research under the supervision of Craig Montell.

Dr. Nam is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Yonsei University College of Dentistry. His research focuses on cholesterol metabolism and nutrient-sensing pathways that regulate mTORC1 signaling. He obtained his Ph.D. from Dongguk University College of Pharmacy, where his doctoral research centered on the NRF2 pathway in antioxidant defense and cancer biology.

Dr. Do Van Quan received his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Hanoi University of Pharmacy in 2015 and his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Dongguk University, South Korea, in 2022. He completed postdoctoral training at Dongguk University and Hallym University between 2022 and 2024. His research focuses on ectopic taste receptor–related functions, with particular interest in the molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways underlying these processes.

She is an integrated M.S.–Ph.D. student. She obtained her B.S. in Life Science from Yongin University. Her current research focuses on the therapeutic potential of steroid sulfatase inhibition. 

Dilan de Silva

He earned a Bachelor’s (Honors) degree in Pharmacy from the Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences in Sri Lanka. After completing his undergraduate training, he served as an academic staff member in the same department. He is currently enrolled in a joint M.S.–Ph.D. program, where his research focuses on multisensory integration and its interactions using Drosophila models.

He graduated from Hue University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology. He earned a Master of Science degree from the Laboratory of Neural Development at Jeonbuk National University, where he studied motor axon guidance in Drosophila embryos. He is currently pursuing a PhD, focusing on Drosophila adipocytes and adipokinetic hormone signaling.
