This way, I can edit the document with you and make comments. You may look up a word here and there, but if you do, please put the word in BOLD. Otherwise, everything you write should be in your own words and grammar. The purpose of you sharing the document is for me to be able to help you. Feel free to write English in your drafts if you need help knowing how to say something and I can comment directly on the shared document.

1. Read the article that's shared with you in Google Documents and below. The display looks funny here so you have to click the open icon to the lower left of the box. Print it and read it well and underline words that are confusing. You don't have to look them up unless they interfere with your overall understanding. Be prepared to write answers to discussion questions next week in class.
2. Continue to do research for your projects. Look up biographical information and start to find the 10 looks or trends you want to feature for the project.
3. Print out this list of clothing vocabulary below that will be helpful for the coming weeks. Again, the display looks funny here so you have to click the open icon to the lower left of the box.

-Malinche,
-vocab on p. 256
-pronoun placement (238)
As mentioned in class last week on Wednesday, I would have your work graded by the end of that day. The purpose was for you to see if there were any errors if you wanted to use your homework to study. Some of you have not come by to pick up the work. If you want your corrected work as a study tool for Wednesday's test, please stop by.
The topics for the test can be found on the website. Email me with any questions. Remember, when you're absent a full day, you have one additional day to make up your work. If you come to school late on a Wednesday, it's my expectation that you bring the work to me that day or email it to me that day. Each day that it's late is a 10% reduction in the grade.
Below, I have pasted a list of vocab words that you should know from the reading -- these all relate to the key topics we discussed in class last week. If you go over the use of these words in the reading, that will be a great way to review.

DUE week of October 25:
Spanish 4/5 (Wednesday):
Design a page about a "trendy, cool" thing in society now. Simply select something, write a paragraph describing it and include one command - like "buy it" or "go see this movie." You should also include subjunctive. People chose things like silly banz or the new itouch, the movie Social Network, but it can be a piece of clothing, a restaurant, anything at all. Ideally you should design as one single Powerpoint slide with a picture. Feel free to look under Student Work Samples tab to the left to see what some of your peers have done already so that you don't write about the same topic. You will also have a quiz on Wednesday on subjunctive and commands.
