We welcome donations whether they be monetary or in-kind giving. Since we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible as allowed by IRS rules.
Mail your donation to: Ladies Guild of Bayside, P O Box 108, Bayside, TX 78340
Our Start:
Our story began in March 2011 when word got around town that there was going to be a social group forming and creation of a cook book was a topic for discussion. We decided on calling ourselves the Ladies Guild of Bayside. Discussions ensued and plans were finalized for our first fundraising event which occurred in July 2011 where we sold t-shirts, photographs, notecards and raffled the “Charm of Copano Bay” necklace.
Concurrently, we made plans to apply to the IRS to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit because we knew those credentials would be necessary to seek grants, matching funding and in-kind gifts from businesses that encourage and support involvement in local non-profit organizations.
ConocoPhillips has provided the Ladies Guild with over $9,000 through their matching gift and volunteer grant programs (2012-2023).
James Avery Artisan Jewelry has provided in-kind jewelry donations for the annual Ladies Guild necklace raffle (2013-2022).
With the Form 1023 checklist completed, the application was finally ready to mail to the IRS. We received the IRS Letter of determination stating that we had met all the requirements on March 5, 2012.
We are working to make life better in Bayside.
