A few days ago, Google announced the new version of Google Sites (only available through an Early Access Program at the moment). Awesome Table is one of the most popular companion for Google Sites and many people asked us if it would still be available in this new version.

Well, in fact we have been working with Google for a while now and starting today, all people with early access to Google Sites can easily embed Awesome Table views, using the Embed URL button.

During the past year, we have made many improvements so that Awesome Table looks good on any device, fitting perfectly in the new version of Sites "designed to scale and flex to any screen size, so they’re as useful when you access them on the 30-inch monitor at your desk or your smartphone on your commute".

The integration isn't perfect yet. Contrary to the current version of Google Sites, Awesome Table doesn't resize itself automatically based on what you want to display but we are working on that with the Sites team and the integration should be perfect very soon!

Edit (09/11/2016): Awesome Table now correctly resizes when included in the new Google Site.
