Recently, the museum joined a cultural project of La Sorbonne University, Paris III. As part of their studies, seven students have decided to display the collections of the museum on a map according to their place of discovery. This project is the result of a collaboration between the scientific team of the museum and the students. The map is illustrated with 3D models of the France Collections 3D, and is part of the artistic and cultural education of the ministry of culture and communication. The aim of this project is to offer the possibility for the public to use a digital tool to rediscover the wonderful collections of the museum and in a different way!
