Yet a lot of pupils and students from deprived areas still do not have access to education. My name is Vijay Raina and I am the Director of IndiaEschool Trust. Our trust is a non-profit organization that compiles educational content from different sources and provides them to teachers and students from deprived backgrounds to help them easily access basic primary education through online platforms. These students either have not followed any kind of education, or have started lately.
The trust aims at providing a browsing tool to all classes, and at developing the use of computer aided learning in classes (CAL). Teachers are given the competence and training required to use technology in classrooms and give students the best education possible.

Why have you decided to use Awesome Table and how are you using it?
We use Awesome Table all the time! This website application helps us display the different subjects offered by the Trust’s platform - IndiaEschool.com on the same table, and provides links to demonstrate the online content.
By selecting a subject, a theme and a language, students are able to find their lessons easily and quickly. Additionally, I believe that guided browsing enables students to be autonomous enough to follow lessons on their own when it is necessary.

Before using Awesome Table, how did you used to display your content?
We used to display our content on lists on our Google Sites.
However, this was not very practical because we had a succession of links displayed and could not find specific lessons easily. We had to search on long lists through each menu of our online platform to find the lesson wanted, instead of having search criteria to filter them.
Therefore, our main need was to find a convenient way for teachers to have classified lists displayed.

We have been witnessing, over the last year, the considerable progress of our website thanks to this application. Awesome Table is very useful to our schools and happens to be the greatest help for our teachers! They are now able to run interactive and interesting activities for students and develop e-classes. IndiaEschool Trust is capable to provide basic education to almost every segment of Indian society and to underprivileged schools.
