This site has moved.
Groups directory is now available for secondary domains! For instance user@organisation.biz can use Groups Directory for your organisation.com domain. If you register a secondary domain on your administration account, you will have to wait for the daily synchronization process to proceed the association.
It is now easier to add / remove members on a group in batch
The list of all groups on your domain is now sorted by your role in the group, then by your email address
The list of user's groups is now sorted by it's role in the group, then by its email address
The members of a group are now sorted by role (Owner, Manager, Member), then by their email address
New responsive design, try Groups Directory on your smartphone!
Groups Directory is now available in the following languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German. The app language is automatically set based on your web browser settings. You can also use the hl parameter in the URL to switch to another language, eg: https://groups-directory.appspot.com/?hl=fr
The q URL parameter gives you short links to access members of a specific group, eg: https://groups-directory.appspot.com/?q=group@domain.com
New icons help you see if a member of a group is a user or another group.
You can now only see the groups you're allowed to see (eg, you won't see a group if you're not a member of it and the group settings say people from the organization can't find it or view its members).
Note: This is a big change as we now have to sync every settings of every groups + the list of members for every group to get the auto-complete on the search bar while respecting each group privacy settings.
Groups owners and managers can now edit some groups settings and add or remove members
Added auto-complete in the search bar on Groups & users (first name, last name, email address)
If you're not member of a group, you'll see a button to request access / join. It will send an email to the group owners.
If a group has a description, it is now displayed when viewing the list of members.
Groups Directory is now available on the Google Apps Marketplace. If installed on a Google Apps domain, it is available through the standard Google Apps launcher. It is now powered by App Engine instead of Apps Script (see article about the release).
You can now display First Name and Last Name of every group member (not just the email addresses).
New version of the Apps Script web app with a better UI and calls to the new APIs from the Admin SDK.
It is also now possible to display all groups on the domain and see all groups a user is member of (in addition to being able to list all members of a group).
First release of an Apps Script web app to list all members of a group
