Order Of The Arrow Ordeal

What is the Order of the Arrow?

It is an organization within Boy Scouts that recognizing Scouts and Adults who best exemplify the scout oath and law and focuses on promoting camping while encouraging helpfulness in scouts. Membership in the Order of the Arrow consists of three levels: Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil. I was elected by scouts in my troop to be a candidate for the ordeal, knowing this truly made me humble with gratitude. I completed the ordeal with Cooper and Ned, as well as Ms. Ruocco and Mr. Helle. I had a fun time learning with my peers about the lessons and morals the Order of the Arrow try to teach Boy Scouts around America. They really try to drive the idea of brotherhood within the scouts that have been through their first ordeal. I am really glad I was chosen, because I had a great time during the ordeal weekend, and I believe I will have a great timeand learn a lot as the troop representative forthe Order of the Arrow.
