You can become a scout at anytime. Just contact our Cubmaster or the Den Leader in your age group - or, just show up at one of our meetings.
Our Pack runs September - May with weekly Den Meetings and once a month Pack Show. June- August we meet twice a month for a Pack activity, usually a weekend camp or a scouting day adventure.
If you have an interest in learning more about our Pack, if you have questions, or if you are ready to get started, please click here to contact one of our leaders. It only takes a minute and we will contact you shortly.
Den Meetings (when just one age group meets - with the Den Leader) are normally held on Tuesdays and when there are specific outings. Pack Meetings are normally held the last Tuesday of the month and all of our scouts (Kindergarten-5th grade) get together in the same place. The meeting is normally led by the Cubmaster. You are welcome to stop by if you are considering joining the pack. We gear the meeting towards the kids and the goal is to have fun and recognize them for their recent accomplishments (with awards, badges, and whatever else we dream up).
To verify meeting times, you can check the calendar here.
First - Don't let the cost scare you off. It's not that expensive and our Pack is able to assist if you need help. The person to see about assistance is the Cubmaster. This will be kept between you and them but you can tend to that later.
Second - The annual fee is $79. Boys life Magazine is $12 (Optional) and is age appropriate.
Third - Den fees are $96 per year. This fee is not covered by assistance but, we do have fundraisers and if your scout meets the goal amount, den and Pack outings are covered.
Scouting is actually quite reasonable considering all that your scout will be doing throughout the year. Don't let the cost get in the way of your decision.
