SCOUTS SCIENCE WORLD CAMPS 

Welcome to the Scouts Science World website for "Section Scouters and Camp Coordinators". 

Science World camps are loads of fun for youth as well as adults and are open to Scouting members in all Councils.   They are overnight camps starting at 6:00pm on the day of the camp and finishing at 8:30am the next morning.

This website is for Section Scouters and Camp Coordinators to obtain information, organize & to register their sections.  All the information that you will need to register is on this website (please read all sections carefully).

 General Information

1. All youth (18 & under) attending these camps must be registered and "Active" members of Scouts Canada (or active in Girl Guides).

2. The Fees for youth are $98 plus GST (18 or younger) and the fees for extra adults are $49 plus GST (19 and older).  One adult is free for every five (5) youth that are registered.  Please note that there are no additional discounts for youth or adults who have Science World Memberships as this camp is a special event. 

3. The youth to adult ratio is 5:1 for all camps (groups must have at least one adult for every five youth registered). 

4. Parents are welcome to attend but must complete the parent screening - the Scouter-In-Charge of the group is responsible to ensure that all their parents/guardians meet this requirement (click on GOING TO CAMP for more details).

5. Third year Beaver Scouts can attend camps in the next section up as a linking activity and a 3rd year Cub can also attend a Beaver camp to help out.

6. Each group is required to have a first aider with them (click here do view the Emergency Response Plan).

7. Space is limited at each camp so early registration is recommended.

8. When camps fill up, additional campers registered will be placed on a WAITLIST.

9. Each registered camper will receive a Science World badge (additional badges can be ordered). 

10. There is an optional early WhiteSpot "Hamburger Dinner" available with limited seating capacity which can fill up quickly (click on REGISTER NOW for details).
