Two-Dimensional Materials Lab

Two-Dimensional Materials Lab.(2DML) at Ewha Womans University focused on the exploration and advancement of materials with reduced dimensionality, including one-dimensional (1D) nanowires, two-dimensional (2D) nanosheets, and zero-dimensional (0D) quantum dots. 2DML focuses on the synthesis, fabrication of heterostructures, and characterization of these materials to uncover their unique physical and chemical properties. With interdisciplinary collaboration and various equipment, 2DML aims to bridge fundamental science with practical applications, including next-generation semiconductors, energy storage/conversion systems, and catalysts. Through cutting-edge research, the institute contributes to the advancement of low-dimensional materials as key components in future technologies.
