Index Notes:
- This is not a full listing of all the songs and stories written by SCA artists.
To date (August 2013), in the past near 50 years there are well over 2,500 works that have been created by and for artists in the SCA.
This is NOT an exaggeration, and may even be a low estimate.
- The list was started in 2013 with nearly 400 works that are available on handouts and lyric sheets, and listed on websites and artists' blogs with notation indicating they are/have been available for performance use within the SCA. If any works have been listed in error, or you would like your works added to the list, please email The Web Admins or use the web form and we will correct things ASAP.
- The primary goal of this index is to provide a listing of the works available to performers and bards in the SCA, written or composed by those in the SCA, for the use at SCA Events including (but not limited to) A&S Displays and Competitions, Bardic Circles and Competitions, Court & Feast Entertainment, Demonstrations, Post-Revel Entertainment, and other types of SCA Performances in a non-profit capacity such as at the Green Dragon at Gulf Wars or the Performing Arts Venues at Pennsic.
- A secondary goal is to provide the correct SCA artist name with the various works available.
- Material in the Index is listed Alphabetically by title, and under the artist index by artist/band first name.
* Due to table sorting, songs beginning with "The" are found under 'T'
* Also due to table sorting, award titles have been removed from artists names
- Due to the amount of upkeep it would need, the SCA Bardic Resource Page does not store original content and does not link directly to the works.
Visit the Bardic Arts and Artists Page, the Kingdom Songs Links, or Kingdom Bardic Sites to find many of these works online- or how to find them as posted by the artists themselves.
- Please contact the artist directly if you would like details to cover their material in a for-profit capacity such as busking or at paid performances, to record or distribute their works or lyrics in any capacity including covering the songs, or sharing their lyrics inside SCA or other types of publications.
Thank you to everyone and all artists for enhancing 'The Dream' in such an amazing way!
