How to Install Ubuntu in Hard disk (Dual Boot).
First Download Ubuntu. Click Here
Take a blank DVD and Burn this ISO image or Make a Bootable USB flash drive
Now restart your computer and go to boot menu
Now boot from CD/DVD drive or USB flash drive
Now click on "Install UBUNTU" button
Make sure your :
(1) is at least 4.8 GB available free space in your disk ?
(2) is your computer plugged in to a power source ?
(3) is your computer is connected to a Internet connection ?
(Optional - to get latest OS update, you can get latest update at any time after installation)
Now check "Download Third Party Software" box.
>CONTINUE
Now don't connect to any Internet connection , Because it will take long time to install UBUNTU.
>CONTINUE
Now select "Something Else"
> CONTINUE
Now choose unused Partition to install UBUNTU or create a partition.
( You can create a partition before enter Boot menu, In Windows -Go to start menu>Right click on My Computer>Manage>Disk Management>Right click on a
big partition>Shrink Volume>Enter at least 10GB (5GB Minimum)>OK ---After Creating Volume: Right Click on that Volume>Create New Simple Volume
Now double click on that partition where UBUNTU is to be installed.
>Size -keep as it is
>Use as - EXT4
>Mount Point - /
>OK
>INSTALL NOW
Now Select Time Zone
>CONTINUE
Now Select Keyboard Layout
>CONTINUE
Now Enter NAME,USER ID, PASSWORD
>CONTINUE
Now Take a Photo
>CONTINUE
NOW INSTALLING UBUNTU..........
INSTALLATION COMPLETE
>RESTART NOW
That's all .. ENJOY......
