Answer
The ListPicker is intended to give a list of options for the application. The ActivityStarter is intended to start up a specific app, in this case Google Maps.

Answer
I was able to find API files for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, which allow users to complete various queries about followers, posts, etc.
