Typed script may be sent at the time of application or by March 17, but it won't be accepted after that.)
All applicants must be recommended by an official representative of a local or regional school or by a Japanese teacher who has taught or taught him/her before. However, there is no recommendation letter necessary. This is to be submitted either by the instructor or the applicant. Please cut and paste the application below in the email body, then send it to SanDiegoNihongoContest2012@gmail (do not send us by attachment. Please be sure to cc to tachibanacenter@gmai.com) by March 10th Saturday,11:59 PM, 2011. (Subject: San Diego Japanese Speech Contest Application Form).
２０１１年はお忙しい中 ご協力感謝します。時間の都合と指示に従っていない原稿が当日に多数届き、コンテストが始まる直前の整理が大変でしたので、今年は上の通りで（タイプした原稿）ご協力おねがいします。したがって今回は試験的にbest penmanship賞はとりやめます。タイプ用の原稿用紙は下記にアップしてありますので、お使いください。タイプができないかたはもちろん手書きで、郵便で送っていただいても結構です。また、提出されてから、若干の修正をされるのはかまいません。申込用紙3.10と原稿3.17(タイプ）をとにかく締め切りまでに提出してください。なお、駆け込み応募はうれしいのですが、参加をきめられましたら万難を排してご参加くださいますようよろしくおねがいします。なお終了後うちあげをいたしますので先生方はぜひご参加ください。このコンテストは日本語を学ぶ地元の生徒学生たちが日本語の先生とが一緒に地域の人々と楽しく集い、みなさんから元気をいただくことを目的として1997年にはじまりました。趣旨をご理解いただき、みなさまのご参加をおまちしています。また、おきづきのこととおもいますが、参加資格について、学校や大学で日本語を履修しているかということは今回は明記されておりません。オーロラ基準にしたがっております。これは日本語を学習している生徒や学生がどういう形であれ、勉強しているものは基準に会えばだれでも参加できるためです。もちろん、一校から参加者が大勢出る場合には先生が優先順位をつけていただいて結構です。よろしくおねがいします。また、いただいた名前はそのまま賞状にでますので、賞状にでていい名前をおかきくださいますように、ご指導ください。
