I am currently a tenure-track assistant professor at Georgia Southern University. Previously, I was a visiting assistant professor at the University of Memphis from Fall 2023 to Summer 2024. I completed my PhD in computer science at Old Dominion University in Dec, 2023. Prior to that, I completed his BS and MS degrees in computer science and engineering at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. My research encompasses various sub-areas of artificial intelligence, including natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning and apply various AI techniques to the fields of data science, social computing, and bioinformatics.

GSU is a public research university in the process of transitioning to an R1 institution within the next few years. It is currently ranked #352 in National Universities and #1551 in Best Global Universities by US News, and 1201–1500th by Times Higher Education (THE), with over 27,000 students.
