2014 Fiesta ST

This is my new toy - 2014 Fiesta ST. Fun Little Car - and a great daily driver. I didn't get the Leather RECARO seats because - well as many other sites have said - they just don't "fit" right.

Here are the specs -

1.6L 16-valve Ti-VCT Turbocharged Direct Injection EcoBoost® I-4

Std. 6-speed manual

Twin-Independent Variable-cam Timing (Ti-VCT)

26 city/ 35 hwy/ 29 combined

HP - 197 @6000 (Premium fuel)

Torque - 202 @ 4200

I must say - this little car feels faster and more nimble then my old FOX Mustangs

The sound is pretty cool to - they have this sound symposer that pumps engine sound into the cabin - at first really didn't understand why - but once you drive it for a while - pretty cool

I drove the Focus ST before I got the Fiesta ST - and I cant say enough about how much fun both cars are - but as most automotive web sites and magazines you will read will tell you - the Fiesta is the best bang for the buck

One thing though - SNOW and SUMMER tires - DO NOT MIX - it is a NIGHTMARE to drive this car with these tires in the snow - even with just an inch

It will go nowhere with the TC system on (BOG in every gear) - and take it off and it will just spin tire all day

So be careful

*Update - this car was sold to get my new 2016 Buick AWD Turbo - car was great at first - but then had Ford Quality issues - heat stopped working, loud noises, clutch slip, many recalls, door latch issues.

Was a great little hot hatch - but being one of the first and first year - was just in the shop to much
