Academic and Professional Career
Prof. Dr. Eng. Salaheddin Odeh is an accomplished academic, researcher, and software consultant specializing in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Development, and Human-Computer Interaction. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, her contributions span research, teaching, leadership, and software consulting.
Research and Industry Experience
1992 – 1998: Researcher at the Laboratory of Man-Machine Systems, University of Kassel, supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
1998 – 2001: IT Consultant specializing in the Solaris Operating System, contributing to industrial projects for German Post AG and the Irish Bank "First e-Solutions" in Darmstadt and Frankfurt, Germany.
1992 – 2001 (Freelance Software Consultant): Lecturer and researcher in interactive process visualization, fuzzy logic, and multimedia-based process control.
Academic Leadership and Teaching
Since 2002: Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Quds University.
2004 – 2006 & 2014 – 2015: Chair of the Computer Engineering Department at Al-Quds University.
2005 – 2007: Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Engineering.
