We celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a concert event that brought chorus alumni from all over, including members returning from as far away as Japan!! We express our profound appreciation to those of you who offered your invaluable support in order for us to continue our mission over so many years.
結成20周年を記念して、アメリカ国内のみならず、日本からも合唱団OBの方々をお招きして同窓会コンサートを開催することができました。これもひとえに皆様のご支援の賜物と深く感謝しております。

It was a nice weather and we had a great time singing and having various Asian style foods there. One of our members played the "Koto" - Traditional Japanese musical instrument !!
当日は快晴で心地よい気候でした。アジアフードの屋台がたくさん出ていて、にぎやかな雰囲気の中、楽しく歌わせて頂きました。メンバーの１人が琴の演奏を披露しました。

We were invited to attend an event hosted by teachers and students participating in the Japanese language program for grades 1-3 that started in Boone County. The gymnasium was filled with the voices of the Sakura Ladies Chorus and Men's Chorus. We ended the event with a new song, "My Neighbor Totoro".
Booneカウンティで開始した小学１～３年生を対象とした日本語プログラムに参加している先生と生徒たちが開催するイベントにご招待いただきました。サクラレディースコーラス＆メンズコーラスの歌声が体育館に響きました。そして、新曲「となりのトトロ」で、イベントの最後を飾らせていただきました。

We sang in the central atrium hall on the first floor of the library. This time, we also performed a song with a male solo and a female crossover. Everyone listened with great interest.
図書館の１階中央の吹き抜けホールで歌いました。 今回は、男声ソロと女声の掛け合いがある曲も披露しました。皆さん、興味深げに聴いてくださいました。
