MC Scow Fleet 88

The Crab Orchard Lake Sailing Association is home to MC Scow Fleet 88. Established in 2008 members are working hard to grow the fleet. Presently there are six members.

The MC is much like the C Scow but only 16 feet, 420 lbs and can easily be single handed. Adding a crew is optional and even desirable particularly when winds kick up to around 15 to 20 mph.

In addition to club racing members host a regional regatta called the Scow-Luki. The fleet also travels to other MC regional events.
