I am a very typical, active terrier. I like to keep myself busy sniffing and exploring the great outdoors; as a young, intelligent dog (and of course handsome) dog, I will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy.

Since I arrived here, I have started playing ball in my spare time, but I haven't yet learnt to bring it back! Staff say I am a very clever boy though and am quick to learn commands so I'm sure I can get the hang of fetching with a bit of help from you!

Away from the kennel block, I am friendly towards other dogs.

I do have one thing I will need help with though...

Unfortunately I have a very sad past. My memories of the nasty men who hurt me have left me rather wary of strangers, particularly males. I will need gentle introductions to any new men in his life and may need to wear a muzzle when out in public so that we don't have any misunderstandings.

It’s not yet known how long I can be left alone for so I’m currently looking for a foster home where there is somebody around for most of the day.

I’m looking to live with someone who has owned dogs before and who has researched my breed type.

I could live with a calm female dog providing we’re the right match but I wouldn’t be suitable to live with cats.

I may be able to live with sensible children from 14 years of age and upwards.

My foster carers will be expected to help me practise basic training exercises and to provide me with a minimum of one hour’s exercise every day.

I am fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered.
