Corrosion Research Facilities
Corrosion Research Facilities are established with the Internal Seed Grant from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the year 2022. In the due course of establishment, research grant was succeeded by Dr. R. Vaira Vignesh through TARE scheme of Department of Science and Technology (DST) - Government of India. The research facilities include thermostatic water bath, corrosion test chamber, sacrificial anode test rig (compatible for electrochemical analysis), salt-spray chamber, and stress-corrosion cracking setup.

Friction Stir Welding Lab
Friction Stir Welding Lab was established with the Internal Seed Grant from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the year 2017. The lab has a precise-controlled friction stir welding setup that enables Friction Stir Welding, Friction Stir Processing, Friction Stir Spot Welding, Rotary-Friction Welding, Modified Friction Stir Clinching process, and Friction Surfacing of metallic materials. The lab has published high-quality research articles in various international journals (SCI, SCIE, ESCI indexed). Besides, the articles from the lab are cited by researchers from world-renowned institutes, research labs, and institutions of national importance.

Materials Processing Lab
Materials processing lab was established at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the year 2017. The lab has advanced facilities for processing of materials at high temperature, high vacuum, and high vacuum & high temperature conditions. In the due course of establishment, the lab received research grants from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) - Government of India, Department of Science and Technology (DST) - Government of India, and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
