RHS Band Announcements:  

• 2025-2026 Performance Schedule:

  • • • The performance schedule for the 2025-2026 school year is now available on the Calendar page

• Band @ Private Event:  Wednesday, October 8

  • • • Students are dismissed from class at the end of B block to report to the band room, get instruments, and load the buses

      • We should return to school by the start of D block

• Jazz @ BROC Annual Meeting:  Friday, October 17

  • • • Students are dismissed from class at 10:45am to change and load the bus

      • This performance is in support of the BROC Community Action's annual meeting/luncheon at Howe Center.  Students will be given lunch at the event

      • We should return to school by the end of Flex block

• RHS Fall Band Concert:  Wednesday, October 22

  • • • Location:  RHS Gym

      • Student report time:  6:45pm

      • Concert attire:  Black pants or skirt and RHS Band polo shirt

• Rutland Halloween Parade:  Saturday, October 25

  • • • Location: Downtown Rutland

      • Meeting spot and time:  TBD

      • Students should arrive in costume within our Star Wars theme and bring their instrument (no cases!)

      • The parade ends in the area of Market 32/City Hall and students will be dismissed from that location

• District Auditions:  Wednesday, November 5

  • • • Auditions are at Proctor High School

      • Bus and audition times are TBD

• Airmen of Note Concert:  Friday, November 14

  • • • This free concert will take place at Norwich University.  We will have a bus going over, leaving RHS at 5pm and returning at approximately 10:30pm.

      • Interested students should sign up with Mr. Barnett by October 15.  Space is limited!
