I have worked with diverse groups of students at University College Dublin, the University of Melbourne, the University at Albany, State University of New York, Bowling Green State University, and the University of St Andrews. I enjoy working with students at different levels and have taught undergraduate and graduate courses. The sizes of my classes have varied from groups as small as five students to large classes with about 450 students.
I was a member of the APA Committee on the Teaching of Philosophy (2017–2020).
I worked closely with the Institute for Teaching, Learning & Academic Leadership at the University at Albany and redesigned my undergraduate course on the history of modern philosophy as a team-based learning course.

I provide further details concerning the courses that I have taught and my teaching interests here.
