About Me
I am an Associate Professor in theĀ Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University. I got my B.S. degree in 2012 from the School of Mathematical Sciences (Yuanpei Program), Peking University. I graduated in 2016 from the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, UNC at Chapel Hill, under the supervision of Professor Amarjit Budhiraja. After graduation, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University, mentored by Professor Paul Dupuis and Professor Kavita Ramanan. From 2018 to 2020, I was a Byrne research post-doctoral assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Michigan, working with Professor Erhan Bayraktar.
My research interests lie in probability and its applications. In particular, I am interested in weakly interacting particle systems, queuing theory, moderate and large deviations (with applications in rare events simulation), random graphs, uncertainty quantification, and mean-field games.

I am co-organizing the Analysis and Probability Seminar (formerly known as PADS) at ISU.
I am co-organizing the Iowa State Mathematics Research Teams (ISMaRT) program at ISU. This year there are 6 research projects. Applications will start being reviewed on October 31.
