Computers and Internet: Guests visiting Stony Brook University can wirelessly connect to the Internet through WolfieNet-Guest, a wireless network specifically designed for guests of the University participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, or research initiatives. The New Computer Science Department also offers a public wireless network for visitors named cs-guest.

There are three options for accommodation: campus residencies, campus hotel and off-campus hotels.
Conference attendants are typically assigned to the Nobel Halls. These are the newest and fanciest of campus dorms and they are conveniently located at a 13 minutes walking distance from our venue.
Each unit in the Nobels has three bedrooms, one shared bathroom, and a common living area. The suites are fully furnished, provide individual climate controls in each unit, wired and wireless ethernet access and cable tv jacks (tvs not included).
NOTE: Placement into specific spaces is determined by dates of reservation and availability of space.
Each residential facility has a recreational and tv lounge, a seminar/meeting room and coin operated laundry facilities available for our Conference Housing guests. There is a fitness center and computing center in close proximity to our Conference Housing residence halls which are available as part of the Conference Housing fees.

The Holiday Inn Express is located about 3 miles from the campus. This includes a full hot deluxe breakfast buffet, free wireless internet and access to indoor swimming pool and fitness center.
The Holiday Inn Express has free shuttle to/from Islip MacArthur Airport, Stony Brook Train Station & Port Jefferson Ferry, as well as door to door at SBU Campus buildings and to local attractions and restaurants.
Conference price: 20 rooms at $129/nite including breakfast. Rooms have to be booked by June 10 to get the special rate.

The Three Village Inn is located about 3 miles from the campus. Dining is available on site at the Hotel's restaurant and tavern. All the rooms include a hot country breakfast, private entrance, private bath, telephone, cable television, and High Speed Internet access. They offer complimentary shuttle service to the Long Island Railroad and to the Stony Brook University and Hospital. Advance Reservation Required.
