Kindergarten readiness is a program that Rutherford County offers to students who are eligible for kindergarten, based on their birthday, but have a summer birthday. Students who turn 5 during the summer months (June, July and before August 15) are candidates for KR. These programs have 15 seats per class. There are 6 Readiness classes in Rutherford County.
