Although they are no longer the full time cuers for any square dance clubs, there was a time when they regularly cued for five square dance clubs each month, and it's safe to say that they have cued for most all square dance clubs in Northeast Georgia, the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina at one time or another. These days, you may find them occasionally filling in for a vacationing cuer, but most of their time is spent promoting, teaching, cueing and dancing round dance.
Ramona and Matt host opportunities for round dancers, usually once a month, there is the "All Afternoon Round Dance", on Sundays (dates vary based upon Matthew's work schedule), from 2:00 till 4:30 at the Habersham County Senior Center, 217B Scoggins Drive, Demorest, GA. Dates will be announced, posted on Facebook and posted on the front page of this website.
In 2019 our "1st and 3rd Fridays", became no more. These Friday night dances were a staple format for so many years, dating back to 2004 when Matt & Ramona first started hosting all round dances, a new concept for the area at that time. Back then, our first all round dances were in Hartwell.
