1 - Beginner

The beginner class meets once weekly and we work to teach the beginning steps of the five basic rhythms of cha-cha, rumba, two-step, waltz and jive. These classes are taught in 10-week sessions, lasting at just one year for the beginner level of dancing. Our classes are always ongoing, so if you're interested in learning more of this style of dance, please call Ramona at (706) 436-6748 to find out more details. Hope to see you in class.

The cued files have been emailed to you, our class attendees. Having to update the website here, I haven't rediscovered how to post MP3's yet. If you have any questions please feel free to call us and we will be glad to help you with the steps over the phone. (706) 436-6748. Thanks!!

As you look at the cue cards, you will see some strange abbreviations we cuers use as directions on the floor or body positions. Here are some of them spelled out for you:

CP = Closed Position LOD = Line of Dance RLOD = Reverse Line of Dance

COH = Center of Hall Btfly - Butterfly (hand position) L & R = Left & Right

WALL = Wall Bk = Back
