These panels will be the longest on the coach, so Marcus was very nervous when cutting and pinning them in place! Again with the size and varnish the grain really stands out. To maximise the holding strength of the pins, 300mm pins were used. The problems with this was that they kept bending while being hammered (very gently) into position. Pin manufacturer's were rubbing their hands.
