Expertise in signal and image processing, machine learning:
Expertise on the image processing flow : preprocessing, shape and texture characterization, pattern recognition, classification, information fusion, decision, 3D reconstruction.
Main contribution : modeling of a priori knowledge, related to the application domain or extracted from the images, in order to better constrain the problem at the segmentation and recognition stages.
Application fields : document analysis, biometrics, medical imaging for ophthalmology, sustainable agriculture.
