    • Head of the SITe (Signal Image Telecommunications) research team.

Expertise in signal and image processing, machine learning:

    • Expertise on the image processing flow : preprocessing, shape and texture characterization, pattern recognition, classification, information fusion, decision, 3D reconstruction.

  • Main contribution : modeling of a priori knowledge, related to the application domain or extracted from the images, in order to better constrain the problem at the segmentation and recognition stages.

  • Application fields : document analysis, biometrics, medical imaging for ophthalmology, sustainable agriculture.

Collaborative research:

    • Team leader : head of the DaSSIP research group, including 3 professors, 10 associate professors and PhD students, working on 3 research axes:

    1. Data science and distributed system

    2. Signal and image processing
