About me

I am currently Professor at ISEP (Institut Supérieur d'Electronique de Paris), in charge of the DaSSIP research team (Data Science Signal and Image Processing).

I received my engineering degree from ISEP in 1992, my PhD degree from ENST (Telecom ParisTech) in 2006, and my HDR from University Paris Descartes in 2012.

My research interests are in the domain of signal and image processing: segmentation, pattern recognition, modelling of a priori information, information fusion, decision, machine learning, deep learning. I have worked in various application fields: document analysis, biometrics, medical imaging and sustainable agriculture. Especially, I have collaborated since 2006 with the Quinze-Vingts Hospital, developing image processing methods dedicated to clinical studies in ophtalmology. I am a member of the Paris research group.

Beside my professional life, I am very keen on music, mountains, sport and photography, all these activities being fully compatible...
